Alison has worked as a reference librarian at Fordham Law School since graduating with a joint JD/MLS in 2007. Her particular interest is in foreign, international, and comparative law with a focus on European competition law. In addition to normal academic reference duties, Alison teaches a number of sections of both basic and advanced legal research on a variety of topics, including administrative law, US legal research for LLMs, and a course specifically on foreign and international legal research. She is fortunate to have the opportunity to work extensively with the large LLM and SJD community at Fordham, and has also had the opportunity to provide research instruction on location to students in Fordham's study abroad program in Ireland. In addition to these activities, she also enjoys keeping up on FCIL issues and learning from her colleagues in other countries through her participation in ASIL, BIALL and IALL.
