My life is turning out to be pretty fantastic! I got the best wife and the best kids, and I love my job and the people I work with.

I joined the University of Kentucky College of Law Library Faculty as the Faculty Services Librarian in May 2011. In addition to my duties in the library, I am a member of the teaching team that will instruct first year students in their Legal Research and Writing course.

Generally speaking, I'm into leveraging technologies in learning environments, for teaching, learning, and discovery. I'm a user-centered design evangelist, and my interest in digital preservation keeps me focused on best practices in digital asset management strategies. I love well-written technical documentation (a rare find, I dare say). I also enjoy dabbling in library communications.

Andrew Weber, Legislative Information Systems Manager, has been at the Law Library of Congress since June 2004. He has contributed to reports for Congress, updated parts of The Bluebook, trademarked the GLIN logo, and drafted visa applications for co-workers. I'm a projects manager in the Harvard Law School Library Digital Lab. We guide digitization by principles to produce authoritative, open, and persistent digital objects. And we're keenly interested in collaborating with software developers and teams to make these objects useful to the broadest range of constituents.

I am the assistant law librarian at the Nevada Supreme Court Library. Formerly I was Acquisitions Librarian at the Wiener-Rogers Library at UNLV and Director of Library Services at Lionel Sawyer & Collins in Las Vegas, NV. I'm a 1994 graduate of Michigan's School of Information and Library Studies and a 1987 graduate of Smith College (American Studies major, Music minor). I love to quilt.
